Join design group Iamkreyol for an evening of style, music, networking, art, and fundraising for their first collaborative trip to Haiti this summer. Join The Young Black Women’s Society Inc. (YBWS) to celebrate 10 Years of success at the Purple Affair Anniversary Reception taking place at Simmons College (300 The Fenway) 6:00pm – 9:00pm. In honor of ten successful year, they are gathering a community to showcase the work we have done to build Access, Equity, and Empowerment for this region’s emerging women of color leaders. It’s finally here! SoWa is back featuring 130 indie designers and artists, 17 food trucks, 65 specialty food and farm vendors. The market will be open every Sunday hereafter from 10:00am-4:00pm through the end of October.
